Elizabeth - An agitated New Jersey man clutching a Bible was fatally shot by police who mistakenly thought he had a gun, authorities in New Jersey said yesterday. Police said two officers were called to the basement apartment of Mr Mark Venuti (36), on Saturday night by a neighbour.
