An Bord Pleanala has upheld Cavan County Council's objections to three mobile phone masts that ESAT had applied for permission to erect at Garda stations in the county. One application in Bailieboro, Co Cavan, caused particular anger among local councillors and parents. Eircell is also facing strong opposition over the erection of a mast at Lislea, near Cootehill.
