Park shooting investigated

A man is recovering in hospital yesterday after being shot during an assault in Fairview Park on Saturday. The man was confronted in the park around 8.30 p.m. on Saturday by the gunman, who shot him in the leg. Gardai have preserved the scene of the incident and are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
