One hurt in two separate shootings in Dublin

A man was hurt and a caravan was attacked in two separate shooting incidents on Dublin’s northside overnight.

The first incident happened after midnight in Kilbarrack when a man in his late 20s was shot in the leg with a double-barreled shotgun in Briarfield Walk.

He was taken to Beaumont hospital where his injuries are said to be not life-threatening.

Later in the night, shots were fired at a caravan in Ballymun. No-one was hurt in the attack in St Marys Park at around 2 a.m.
