A former director of Tullow Oil has been appointed to the board of glass-maker Ardagh.
In a statement the company said Mr Dan O'Donohoe's appointment was part of a promise of a new-look board made a shareholders extraordinary general meeting in January.
The company added that a High Court hearing on a demerger proposal would be heard later this month.
