The men's singles final will now be played on Monday after discussions involving Tim Henman, Goran Ivanisevic and Pat Rafter of Australia who went through to the final on Friday.

Officials have abandoned play for the day at Wimbledon after rain hit the venue again.

The men's semifinal between Henman of Britain and Croatian Ivanisevic was stopped early in the fifth set.

Ivanisevic was leading 3-2 with Henman serving when the umpire called the players off Centre Court after just 51 minutes play was completed today.

The semifinal will restart at 1.00pm on Sunday, weather permitting, organisers said.

The women's final between defending champion Venus Williams and Justine Henin of Belgium will not start before 2.00pm on Sunday after being delayed from Saturday.

Play had started at Wimbledon at 5.30pm on Saturday after a 4-1/2 hour delay for rain. The semifinal was stopped on Friday night by rain in the fourth set.
