Maynooth hosts conference

St Patrick's College, Maynooth, will host a one day international conference this Thursday on "National Questions" to mark the 150th anniversary of Daniel O'Connell's death. Among the speakers will be the Governor of the Central Bank, Mr Maurice O'Connell, on Irish banking and monetary union, and the professor of modern history at University College, Oxford, Dr Colin Matthew, on Gladstone, Ireland and O'Connell.
