Mr Martin Williams (18), a Welshman, charged with the manslaughter of Mr Jeffrey Leigh (64), also from Wales, was remanded in custody at Ballyjamesduff District Court yesterday. Mr Williams, appearing before Judge Donal McArdle, consented to the remand to Cavan District Court on January 22nd next.
Mr Leigh died from a blow to the head at a remote farmhouse in Cavancoulter, Mountnugent, on December 28th.
