Man released in Wexford death inquiry

A man arrested in connection with the discovery of a body in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford has been released.

A man arrested in connection with the discovery of a body in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford has been released.

Paddy Connors (37) was found dead in an apartment building at Carrigtur, Springvalley.

The separated father of two lived in Armstrong’s Range, a short distance from where he died.

Gardaí were notified of Mr Connors's death at about 8.30am yesterday.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and detained at Enniscorthy Garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

He was questioned at Enniscorthy Garda station but was released this evening.

A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions and the investigation is ongoing.
