A pedestrian was killed in a road accident in Inchicore, Dublin, early this morning. The man, in his early 20s, was knocked down by a car on Sarsfield Road. The accident occurred close to the clubhouse of Liffey Gaels GAA club shortly after 1.15 a.m. The man was brought to St James Hospital where he was declared dead.
