Man held over Belfast drug raid

A 33-year-old man was arrested today following a police raid linked to significant drug seizures earlier this month.

A 33-year-old man was arrested today following a police raid linked to significant drug seizures earlier this month.

Officers from the Tactical Crime team searched a house in Salisbury Street off the Dublin Road in Belfast this morning.

They seized £5,000 in cash, computers and documents. No drugs were found.

A 37-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were also arrested in relation to immigration offences.

The search was part of a follow-up investigation into the seizure of cannabis plants with an estimated cultivated value of £300,000 from a house in East Belfast on July 8th.
