Gardai in Monaghan were last night questioning a man after they seized arms and drugs in a joint operation with members of the Emergency Response unit.
The man, a truck driver, was arrested following the find near Castleblayney at about 6 p.m. yesterday. He was being held in Monaghan Garda station for questioning under the Drug Trafficking Act.It is believed the find included a substantial amount of cannabis resin and a number of guns.
