Man dies in farm accident

A man was killed after he fell into a slurry pit on a farm near Dungannon, Co Tyrone, yesterday. The local fire brigade was called to the scene, but was unable to save his life. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old Cavan man was killed at the weekend when his motorbike went out of control near Ballyjamesduff. Gardai named him yesterday as Mr Kevin Smith from Ballyjamesduff.
