Man charged with Nenagh murder

A 25-YEAR-OLD unemployed man was last night charged with the murder of a Nenagh man

A 25-YEAR-OLD unemployed man was last night charged with the murder of a Nenagh man. Mr Thomas O'Brien, St Joseph's Park, Nenagh, was brought before Nenagh District Court on a charge of the murder of Mr Chris Curtin (44), Casement Terrace, Nenagh, on Thursday, at Castle Field, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

Supt Kevin Ludlow of the Nenagh Garda Division said he had arrested Mr O'Brien at 5.13 p.m. at Nenagh Garda station and charged him with murder contrary to common law. Mr O'Brien made no reply.

Mr O'Brien was remanded in custody to Limerick District Court on Thursday.
