A 28-year-old man is due in court tomorrow to face charges in connection with a stabbing in Tralee that left a man with fatal injuries.

The man was arrested today at Old Gallowsfield in Tralee.

He was taken to Tralee Garda station where he was charged over the stabbing of 32-year-old Michal Skotak in the  Racecourse Lawn area of the town on May 16th.

A Holy Communion party had been taking place in the victim’s house.

Mr Skotak, a Polish father of four, died in hospital the following day.

The suspect will appear before Tralee District Court tomorrow morning.
