A man has been badly beaten in what was described as a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast.

A man has been badly beaten in what was described as a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast.

The twenty-eight-year old man was seized by a gang of masked men shortly before 8 p.m. last night in Rockdale Street.

An RUC spokesman said the victim was beaten with hurleys and suffered a broken arm and serious bruising.
