A man was arrested and detained for questioning following a collision between two cars in which a man in his 20s was fatally injured in Co Tipperary on Monday night.
A second man was taken to Nenagh General Hospital for treatment. The driver of the second vehicle abandoned the scene of the accident. Gardai located his car approximately 1 1/2 miles from the crash scene and following a search of the area he was arrested and detained.
