A retired Co Tyrone factory worker has appeared in court accused of indecently assaulting a young girl between February and September this year. John Francis Duffy (60), of Barrack's Street, Coalisland, was remanded on bail to November 20th when he appeared at Cookstown Magistrate's Court yesterday.

A condition of the bail is that he stays out of Coalisland. Defence solicitor, Mr Frank Madden, told the magistrate, Mr Maurice McHugh, that Mr Duffy was now living in Pomeroy as he had been intimidated out of his home in Coalisland.
