Man (24) dies in Limerick crash

A 24-year-old man has died in a car crash at Curraghroche, Galbally, Limerick.

A 24-year-old man has died in a car crash at Curraghroche, Galbally, Limerick.

The crash happened at about 2.30am this morning. The man who died was the driver of a car. His 18-year-old male passenger was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital with injuries described as not life threatening.

The road has been closed to facilitate a forensic collision investigation and diversions are in place.
