Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele is poised for a move to Chelsea, his agent claimed today.
Marc Roger said Chelsea had offered £7 million for the 30-year-old midfielder.
Roger said Makelele was keen to join Chelsea and that unless Madrid improved his client's salary, Monday would be the France international's last day at the club.
A Real Madrid spokesperson said there had been "nothing official" with regards a transfer.
