Ireland's Lotto jackpot will top €5 million tonight, making it one of the largest prizes so far this year.
Punters are being urged to buy their tickets early to beat the queues and be in with a chance of snapping up the €5.5 million winnings. There have been three occasions this year when the jackpot exceeded the €5 million mark. On January 31th, €8.6 million was snapped up by a lucky player in Kilkenny, while €6.7 million and €7.3 million were won in Dublin in March and May respectively.
