ONE of the pieces of literature Labour was preparing for the general election campaign was a single sheet comparing the party's record in Government with that of its immediate predecessors, the Fianna Fail/PD Government, the Tanaiste, Mr Spring, said last night.
They had taken over 50 different headings, he said, and established the simple facts and figures that demonstrated a true comparison, he added.
On a visit to the Dublin North East constituency, Mr Spring said the facts told them that "a return to the misery years is something that we must fight, and fight, and fight against".
