The High Court has reserved judgment in an action for damages by a former soldier who claims he developed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of his experiences with the first Irish UN Battalion to serve in Lebanon in 1978. Mr Christopher Knowles (45) has alleged the Army was negligent in failing to diagnose and treat his PTSD.
