Beijing - More than 87 million people in China are surnamed Li, making it the most commonly used family name in the country, the Xinhua news agency said yesterday. Li, family name of 7.9 per cent of China's 1.2 billion population, replaces Zhang, which is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, as the number one name in China.
