Irish slalom canoeist Éadaoin Ní Challaráin has qualified for the Olympics this year by finishing eighth in the K1 class in the final qualifying event in Athens today.
Ní Challaráin, from Galway, has been training full time in Nottingham, England, in preparation for the Games and represented Ireland at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
