Gardai investigating the fugitive financier, Mr Tony Taylor, have made inquiries in banks in the Isle of Man and Jersey and expect to conduct further inquiries with banks in Luxembourg. A senior Garda source said Mr Taylor was believed to be in London, and there were no plans to extradite him at the moment.
Gardai are believed to have consulted the Director of Public Prosecutions about making an application to the Luxembourg banks to conduct an investigation into the disappearance of Mr Taylor's clients' money.
