Try health and yoga therapies at workshops
A health and yoga experience with more than 50 workshops to choose from goes ahead in Cultivate, The Greenhouse (formerly Enfo), Andrew Street, Dublin, on Saturday and Sunday.

MiniMed annual public lectures
The sixth annual MiniMed public lecture series begins at the end of the month.

Improve your relationships
An evening course on improving communications in relationships, led by psychotherapist David Gibson, will be held every Tuesday from 7pm-9pm in the Emmaus Centre, Ennis Lane, Lissenhall, Swords, Co Dublin, starting on January 19th. Awards for literacy in healthcare
Literacy in the healthcare system is the theme of an annual awards scheme which celebrates clear patient information across a range of settings.
Health professionals in GP practices, hospitals and other clinics are invited to enter projects that might merit an award. The closing date is January 29th. See the National Adult Literacy Agency www.nala.ie or www.crystalclearawards.ie for more details.
Call for mental health volunteers
Researchers working on a discrimination and mental health project are looking for help from people who have experienced mental health problems. The DCU team is studying the experience of discrimination by people with mental health difficulties.
