Rising Bayern Munich star Owen Hargreaves has today been called up into Sven-Goran Eriksson's England squad for next week's friendly against The Netherlands.
But Sol Campbell was omitted from the squad due to a lack of fitness. It means he will not be making an immediate return to White Hart Lane.
David Seaman is rested, with the promise that he will return for the match in Munich.
Rio Ferdinand and Steve McManaman were also not included for the same reason, with Eriksson determined to ensure the trio are fit by the World Cup qualifier against Germany on September 1st.
Ugo Ehiogu, Frank Lampard, Richard Wright, Philip Neville, Nicky Barmby, Gary Neville and Andy Cole all returned to the squad after missing out last time around. Teddy Sheringham and Kieron Dyer are both injured.
