LONDON - Ms Victoria Gillick, the campaigner against under-age sex, yesterday accepted substantial undisclosed libel damages over a suggestion on television that she was morally responsible for the suicide of two young girls.

Ms Gillick represented herself in a brief High Court hearing before Mr Justice French, at which the BBC and journalist Susan Pearce said it was never their intention to make such a suggestion.
