Gardai name Waterford crash victim

Gardaí today named the man who died in car crash in Co Waterford as Brian Walsh (28).

Gardaí today named the man who died in car crash in Co Waterford as Brian Walsh (28).

Mr Walsh, who was from Waterford, died when the car he was driving  left the road at Corbally More between Tramore and Dunmore East yesterday morning.

Two other men in their 20s who were also travelling in the car were taken to Waterford Regional Hospital. There were no other vehicles involved.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them.

A man in his 60s died yesterday after a road crash in Inishowen, Co Donegal. He was named locally as Danny Doherty, a welder from Quigley's Point.
