Gardai are investigating the armed hijack of a jeep in north Dublin early this morning.
The driver of the Mitsubishi Pajero jeep was at a garage on the Kilmore road in Artane at 12.45 a.m. when a man with a handgun forced him into the back of the vehicle.
The jeep was driven out of the garage where another man was picked up. A short time later the owner was ejected from the vehicle.
The victim is understood to have suffered slight facial bruising.
