Gardaí in Dublin are investigating reports of a person being bundled into a car in Clontarf one night earlier this week.
A Garda press office statement said witnesses report seeing a person "allegedly being bundled into a car" near the bus shelter at Belgrove Stores on Vernon Avenue at 9.50pm on Thursday, November 22nd.
"Anybody with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Clontarf Garda Station on 01 666 4800," the statement said.
It is understood no reports of missing persons have been received by gardaí in the area.
