Gardaí have seized cocaine with a street value of €50,000 in Dublin and have arrested one man.
The man (26) was stopped and searched at Dingle road, Cabra, at 10 p.m. and was found to be carrying half a kilogramme of the drug. He is being detained in Store Street Garda Station.
Gardaí says the seizure was as a result of a surveillance operation carried out by the Detective Unit at Fitzgibbon Street Garda Station, assisted by the Dublin North Central Drug Unit and the Garda National Drug Unit.
