Fulham have failed to sell their full allocation of tickets for tonight's FA Cup semi-final at Villa Park against local rivals Chelsea.

The Cottagers, who have complained about the 7pm kick-off in Birmingham between two West London sides, have not been able to sell their allocated amount of 19,000 seats.

They will have between 15,000 and 16,000 supporters but the remainder of the tickets will not be made available today. All fans who applied for tickets received them.

Chelsea have filled their 19,000 allocation, which would admittedly have been reduced if the game had taken place, as both clubs seemed to want, at Highbury only for police concerns and TV factors to come into play.

At Old Trafford, meanwhile, there will be a crowd of just under 60,000, vindicating the choice of venue for the 4pm kick-off between Arsenal and Middlesbrough.

Both clubs have virtually sold out their 29,000-seat allocations, apart from a handful of higher-priced tickets, which will not now be released.
