Unionised French ferry staff are planning to prevent the Irish Ferries ship, the Normandy, from entering French ports.
The move following the collapse of negotiations between the company's management and unions in Dublin yesterday.
SIPTU subsequently informed French unions that Irish Ferries was unwilling to negotiate on the issue of outsourcing work to eastern Europe.
