Paris - France said yesterday it was setting up a special police unit on its border with Spain to break up networks backing the Basque guerrilla group ETA.
French Interior Minister Mr Daniel Vaillant informed his Spanish counterpart, Mr Mariano Rajoy, of the initiative during bilateral talks in the French capital, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
