Four people, including three teenagers, have been arrested over a stabbing in Lurgan, Armagh.
The male victim received serious stab wounds to his backduring the attack in Dill Avenue early today.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Detectives are questioning four men, aged 22, 16, and two aged 17.
Meanwhile, a man was beaten with a baseball bat in an attack in east Belfast early this morning.
The 48-year-old victim suffered a wound to his left leg, a suspected fractured leg and an injury to his nose during the incident , which happened shortly after 2.15am in Tower Street. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The attacker is described as being about 1.73m (5'8'') tall and wearing a black hooded coat and a scarf over his face.
He was seen heading towards the Templemore Avenue area.
Police have asked anyone with information about either incident to contac them.
