Five people were killed when a helicopter crashed into the Mediterranean Sea off France's southern coast near Monaco today.
The principality's press service said the helicopter had been on a regular Heli Air Monaco flight between the principality and nearby Nice.
The cause of the crash was not yet known and the statement did not identify the victims - four passengers and the pilot.
