Lagos - Ten people were killed in fighting at the weekend between two rival communities in south-west Nigeria, residents of the two towns said yesterday. The clash erupted on Friday between residents of Ife and Modakeke, around 200 km north-east of Lagos, they said. Both communities are from the mainly Christian Yoruba ethnic group and the violence was not related to earlier Muslim-Christian clashes.
