Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson says he will sign his new contract with the league champions next week.
"There are a couple of points still to be addressed in the contract, nothing serious at all, not major," Ferguson told MUTV today.
"But they still need to be addressed and hopefully that will be done next week."
The 60-year-old Scot said after last Sunday's 2-0 league win at Charlton Athletic that he had agreed a new three-year contract after changing his mind about retiring at the end of the season as he had originally intended.
The club had been expected to announce the contract details this week.
