A father of twin girls attending Cambridge House Girls Grammar School in Ballymena cleared the first hurdle yesterday in his legal attempt to stop it amalgamating with the adjoining Cambridge House Boys School.

In the High Court in Belfast, Mr Kimberley Smith was granted leave to apply for a judicial review of the decision.
