Gardai believe a number of rockets and home-made explosives seized last night in Co Tipperary belonged to dissident republicans.
A 40-year-old Limerick man was arrested shortly after 8.30 p.m. when uniformed gardai stopped his car in Cahir. He made an attempt to escape on foot but was arrested. Gardai described the find as `significant."
