The former manager of a Tallaght shop, "Nature's Way" has been cleared of embezzlement by Judge Frank O'Donnell at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Judge O'Donnell directed the jury to find Ms Shirley O'Regan not guilty following legal argument and submissions on the fifth day of the trial by Mr Patrick O'Connell, prosecuting, and Ms Mary Rose Geraghty, defending.
Ms O'Regan (26), of Lisheeda, Co Cork, with an address at Swift House, Patrick Street, Dublin, had pleaded not guilty to 20 charges of stealing sums of money between November 1996 and February 1998.
