Proving that opera is for everyone, the pupils of Belgrove Senior Girls National School, Clontarf, Dublin, travelled through the mists of time for their performance of The Quest.

Set in Celtic times, The Quest is the story of Caoilte, a young girl who tries to prove herself by stealing magic berries from the Weeping Wood. Composed by Colin Mawby and written by Maeve Ingolsby, The Quest is a unique opera specifically designed to be preformed by children with the assistance of the National Chamber Choir.

"It was a huge, wonderful undertaking for these children and everyone had a fantastic night," said Deirdre Murray, a teacher from Belgrove.
