The DUP Mayor of Derry will tonight host a civic reception for SDLP leader Mr John Hume to mark his Nobel Peace Prize award.
Alderman Joe Miller, who last October broke with DUP policy by officially welcoming the President to Derry, has dismissed criticism of his decision from his own party and from fringe loyalist groups. "I am simply carrying out my function as mayor," he said.
