The Leinster football championship quarter-final replay between Dublin and Meath on Sunday week will be broadcast live on RTÉ television, it was confirmed this evening.
The Croke Park fixture will be broadcast simultaneously with the existing live schedule. Dublin-Meath will be screened on RTÉ One from 3.45pm, with throw-in at 4.15pm.
'The Sunday Game Live' on RTÉ Two at 1.30pm will feature Tyrone's Ulster football semi-final meeting with Donegal (2.15pm) and Waterford's clash with Cork (4pm) in the Munster hurling semi-final.
RTÉ has described its schedule for June 17th as "a bumper feast of GAA action".
The Leinster Council had already decided against any adjustment to the Dublin-Meath replay. The option of a 6pm Sunday start was ruled out on Garda advice.
So was the option of bringing the game forward to Saturday week as essential pitch maintenance at Croke Park is scheduled.
"RTÉ has been working with the GAA over the past few days to arrive at a solution to accommodate all GAA fans," the station's head of sport, Glen Killane, said.
"The scheduling of the Dublin v Meath replay on RTÉ One demonstrates our commitment to delivering comprehensive and quality GAA coverage while offering choice to fans all around the country."
