A father of four was killed instantly when a load of animal feed poured from the back of a lorry and engulfed him, the High Court in Cork heard yesterday. Mr Anthony Sheehan (35), of St Joseph's Park, Mayfield, was delivering the load to a Co Kerry company on March 4th, 1991.

His widow, Ms Margaret Sheehan, was awarded £135,000 plus costs in her action against Kerry Farm Supplies of Farranfore and Mr Jeremiah Crowley, a haulage contractor of Lower Kildinan, Co Cork, for whom Mr Sheehan was working on the day of his death.
