Philadelphia - The transatlantic couple who met on the Internet and married in September underwent kidney transplant surgery here yesterday.
Mr Ian Fleming (29), from Manchester, is giving a kidney to his new wife, Teresa (36) from York, Pennsylvania, who has been plagued with health problems for more than 15 years.
The Flemings were wheeled into the operating room in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital about 12.30 (Irish time) and the simultaneous surgeries began an hour later.
