Police in Co Down are investigating a shooting incident at a house in the early hours of this morning.
A couple escaped injury when several shots were fired at the front door of their home in Balfour Street, Newtownards at around 12.30 a.m. . The woman was treated for shock.
A motive for the attack has not been established, a PSNI spokeswoman said.
