An American has been refused a review of his seven-year sentence for rape by Mr Justice Flood at the Central Criminal Court. James Duffy (64), a native of Boston, was jailed in July 1997 for oral rape and sexual assault of young children. The offences occurred on dates in 1995 and 1996.
